Dan and Donna - Parley Manor Wedding

Well what I can I say about this wedding, a fantastic couple at the wonderfully picturesque location that is Parley Manor.

The gardens at the venue were in terrific shape giving some great backdrops for the photos and having photographed Dan and Donna previously for their engagement shoot, I knew that they would both be at ease in front of the camera for their Wedding.

Engagement portrait shoots are something I offer with all of my packages and it really does help both myself and the clients to get a taste of the sort of things that will happen on their big day, we have a bit of fun and they become more relaxed in front of the camera as lets be honest most of us can be a bit shy in front of the lens…especially me !!!

Looking back at the photos I hope that it shows we had a comfortable and fun relationship with each other, they both relaxed and just enjoyed what was there special day and it reflects in their photos.

Richard and Karen - Miramar Hotel Bournemouth

The Miramar Hotel In Bournemouth was the superb location for the Wedding of Richard and Karen, the sun shone and the guests were all up for a good time and it all made for what was a very enjoyable day for myself.

After the ceremony we started off with some photos in the garden at the front of the hotel and then made our way down to the beach for nice shots before returning back to the hotel where everybody relaxed whilst I got some informal shots of the guests.

The speeches were a great laugh with some hilarious stories and even a photo book from Richard’s stag do In Barcelona appeared showing him In some “revealing outfits”…haha !!!

The day finished for me late into the evening after I had covered the first dance, all the best to the happy couple and I hope you are having a great honeymoon.

James and Liz - Harbour Heights Hotel

Well the sun shone despite the rubbish forecast and guests came from as far afield as Australia, Liz’s birthplace. 

The venue is a wonderful spot with views over Poole harbour and over to Brownsea Island, the happy couple have jetted off  down under for their honeymoon, I wish you a wonderful time guys.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Wedding at Burley Manor Hotel, Darren and Anna

For my latest Wedding I attended the Burley Manor Hotel In the New Forest Hampshire for the Wedding of Darren and Anna.

The day went really well with superb weather, the happy couple had a great time and I wish them both every happiness for the future.

 

 

 

Beach Shoot With Daniel and Donna

Hi everyone, I had a wonderful time on Monday evening shooting Daniel and Donna’s Engagement session down on the beach at the wonderful Hengistbury Head.

I have to remind myself sometimes about how lucky I feel to have such a variety of fantastic locations on my doorstep, In Dorset and Hampshire we really are spoilt for choice.

I agreed to meet with Daniel and Donna an hour or so before sunset as the light at that time of day is far superior for photography than in middle of the day when the high sun casts harsh shadows on to faces, I think you can see from the pictures the wonderful soft golden light of the late evening sun.

Daniel and Donna were a couple that were so obviously in love and this showed through In how comfortable they both were about having their photos taken, Im really looking forward to the wedding now which is at the beautiful Parley Manor.

 

 

Kate and Trevor’s Pre Wedding Shoot

Last week I visited the lovely village of Long Bredy near Dorchester to take some Engagement Photos for Kate and Trevor who’s wedding I have the pleasure of photographing next month.

Kate’s Mum treated me to some of her home made cake, absolutely delicious it was to !!!

Both of them seem totally relaxed in front of the lens and I am really looking forward to their big day, and some more of Ma Milne’s home made delights !!!

 

Darren and Anna Engagement

This last week I had the pleasure  of  shooting some photos for Darren and Anna’s Engagement and I have to say I can’t wait for their wedding,  we got together for the photos at the their wedding venue the beautiful Burley Manor Hotel in the New Forest.

They both seemed comfortatable in front of the camera and were really getting into the swing of things when we finished.

 

Marriage of Giles and Claire

I recently had the pleasure of attending the gorgeous Larmer tree Gardens in Dorset for the Marriage of Giles and Claire Moir.

A great day was had by all, lots of guests had travelled over from Ireland for the ceremony and helped to create a really fun atmosphere, the day ran smoothly thanks to Gail who always does a wonderful job of cordinating the event at the venue.  

Both Giles and Claire were really relaxed and great fun on the day making things easy for myself, I hope the newlyweds are having a wonderful time on their honeymoon in New Zealand.
